This project is a modern redesign of a hearing aid advertisement from the early 1900s, reimagined to connect with today’s children aged 4 to 8 and their parents. The original ad, which was clinical and adult-focused, has been transformed into a playful and imaginative campaign that reflects the wonder of sound in childhood.
Visually inspired by children’s storybooks, the advert creates a whimsical and engaging world, filled with friendly animals, music, and discovery. It captures the joy of hearing through the lens of childhood exploration, turning what was once a medical product ad into something warm, approachable, and fun.
The goal of this redesign is to shift the tone from functional and formal to emotional and child-centered, making the concept of hearing support more relatable and inspiring. The updated advert invites both children and parents into a story-driven experience that feels familiar, comforting, and full of adventure.
