ModuForm is a modular typeface developed in December 2023 as part of the Type and Language module within the BA Graphic Design course at Loughborough University.
The design is defined by its bold, minimalist aesthetic, using simple geometric shapes and strong contrasts between thick and thin strokes. Constructed from a limited set of forms (triangles, circles, and squares), ModuForm balances visual interest with clarity. Features such as the use of two differently sized circles for the leg and bar add uniqueness while maintaining legibility.
With exclusively open counters and high stroke contrast, ModuForm has a modern, dramatic presence. It is best suited for headlines, subheadings, logos, and short bursts of text where strong visual impact is essential.
